Finally a way to play Guitar Hero on PS3

Looks like Nyko is making an adapter for old controllers to the PS3. Hopefully it will work for Guitar Hero guitars — since I have four of the damn things, and expect to get 2 more for the 360!
And I haven’t tried, but I presume old dance mats also don’t work on the PS3 since they lack the PS3 button? So useful for that too, maybe.
Once this show up, I’ll be able to move the PS2 out of the room altogether, since I have yet to bump intoany games, be they PS2 or PS1, that don’t work on the PS3… except for FFXI, that is, which is on the hard drive. I don’t play it anymore, so that’s no big worry for me…

Well that is like a number one reason not to get a PS3! Non working dance mats!
…Why not just keep the PS2 out then? I mean, what do you really need a PS3 for anyway?

On the FFXI thing, Sony have posted a bit of software on the PlayStation store that will allow you to install FFXI and “other hard drive games” (can you think of any?) on the PS3. I haven’t tested it, but I hear it works well.
I’m moving the PS2 out of my living room as soon as I wrap up FFXII. I’ve found that PS2 games look better on the PS2 than the PS3, and I’m estimating that this will be the last PS2 game I play through heavily, so yeah.

so what your telling me is that if i have this i can play guitar hero II with the guitar controller with my ps3!! but i heard this thing will only work if it has the ps button on it that i can click. because when you play a ps2 game it will disconnect the controller and tell you to hit the ps or analog button, that is why other adapters wont let you use the guitar. but you can you the ps2 controllers on the other adapters because they have an analog button, but the guitar doesnt.
