Platformer Game Maker – Flash Game Maker on Sploder!.

I made a very simple platformer, but my elevator floated away and never came back. 🙂

It’s cool to see so many of these sorts of sites come out of the woodwork in the last year.

    Excellent interview. Best line: “people who don’t have a lamp stack in their bedroom”. True. OTOH, someday maybe. For now private label businesses are a distraction I think from you goal and your hoeing to the line. Good.

    The stage is not exactly what I have in mine but since I have never built Flash content, I’m totally ignorant about the libraries here. I’m not a fan of 2.5. On the other hand, the graphics are kick butt, the movement is smooth, the world is consistent in look and performance, and delightfully, you get a big slap on the back for the introductory moves, or as the Sims wizard said, “The first game is how to move”. The navigation is different for me, but the whole introduction sequence was smooth as glass and that took some thought. Kudos.

    This is really good work, Raph. I’d expect no less, but just saying.

    I think you replied on the wrong thread, len, but thanks for the compliments anyway! 🙂

    Remember, you do not need to use Flash at all to build in Metaplace — you just build using the DD&G tools, as you put it, and the built-in scripting. I’ll give you a tour if we coincide online!
