The Sunday Song: Son de Don Con
I don’t even quite remember how to play this. As you might be able to tell, this is a really old recording off of analog tape. I wrote it after Don Conoscenti showed me how to do partial capoing, hence the name. I wandered around playing at Kerrville Folk Festival that year a lot.

OK, I quickly went to go figure it out again. Partial capo 3-4-5, standard tuning.
Play mostly standard chords, actually. The chorus is D-A-C-G6, D-A-C-A, D-A-C-G6, D-A-D for example.
Quality wasn’t bad at all. I run sound and work with audio a lot, I often prefer a rougher, less-than-perfect clarity, myself. I liked the delay timing on the ‘jamm-y’ parts, gave a great sense of space…I could almost imagine you sitting on the front of a stage in an empty concert hall just having a good time (empty because it had that ‘you, the guitar, and no worries’ feel, not empty as in nobody would come and listen :9).
Oh, and Happy Father’s Day!
