Here I am on a plane to Atlanta, and I just finished reading Bruce Sterling’s book Shaping Things. My MP3 player is at home, and I didn’t bring any movies, and I don’t feel like reading, and the in-flight movie is over. So instead, I thought I’d jot down some notes on what I just read.
Hello from lovely (I presume, since I haven’t seen any of it) Atlanta!
I did a Gamespot interview right after doing the Churchill Club thing. It’s now been posted, so I thought I would link to it before going to find some dinner.
I fly out for Atlanta this morning, which means that I had to be sneaky, and buy the roses and whatnot the day before, hide them in the car trunk, and then outwait her tonight so I could set them up on the desk after she went to bed. 🙂
I am going to be at Living Game Worlds 2006 for the next few days. I fly out tomorrow around 1pm-ish, which means that I will miss Valentine’s Day evening with my wife. Grrr.
On the other hand, it means that I will be having lunch with Will Wright on Thursday. Sorry, Will, but not the best trade, in a lot of ways.
The discussions look like they will be interesting. I have not, of course, yet prepared my five-minute panel presentation.
In other news, today I received a DVD of the talk I gave via videoconference for Wharton on “creativity.” At some point, we can try to transcribe it too.
The Multiverse Platform was demoed at DEMO. Most interesting line: “Multiverse is a media company.”
