Hail in San Diego
Usually, San Diego has lovely weather. It’s one of the first things you notice when you step off the plane. Winter is two weeks of rain in February or March.
When it has bad weather, it usually goes from “perfect” to “weird” in short order. As in this case:

Yes, that is hail in my back yard. It came down hard for about 15 minutes, then stopped. Kristen tells me we had a small recurrence today.
Temperature? 50-60 degrees Fahrenheit. Go figure.

Ahh, I thought that was hail. We were in SD last night for a concert and while walking back to our car the rain suddenly became a bit “crunchy” under my feet.
Six Inches of snow fell overnight in Glasgow, Scotland last night. Now we’re a bit more accustomed to snow here, but not so much in March. Its meant to be spring!!!!
We get those hail storms in Sydney, too. A few weeks after I arrived, there was a hail storm so big that there was about an inch or two of accumulation in some places. A bunch of kids dragged out their snowboards, to see if they’d work on the hail.
We got some hail up here in Northern California, too. Trackback says there was snow in Berkeley. Wacky.
Yeah living in the High desert for the past 6 year’s Ive yet to see snow in my back yard untill the past weekend. It’s crazy for the area that’s for sure
