Off to Japan!
I am heading off to Japan in the morning, to speak at CEDEC. The blog may get slightly quieter for a bit as a result.
It is my first time there. 🙂 If you’re in Japan, and want to show me around, and aren’t a creepy stalker… let me know.

I’d direct you to one of my friends who live there, but they’re all creepy stalkers. 😉

Isn’t Metaplace nothing but somewhere for creepy stalkers? I guess the choice simply comes down to 2D, 2.5D, or we’ll all just have to wait for 3D.
I know a really cool place for udon, but you’ll have to be a little more descriptive than Japan. That’s almost like saying your coming to Texas and we have to guess where… Oh wait, Japan is a little bit smaller than Texas. Congrats on the press and have fun eating mostly raw food!

Archetypal experiences:
If you can manage waking up at 3 or 4 (jetlag CAN be your friend), go down through Ginza to the Tsukiji Fish Market (which may not be there for long, I hear).
If you are in Tokyo on Sunday (or Saturday), go to Harajuku and the entrance to Yoyogi Park (between Shinjuku and Shibuya on the Yamanote line).
Heh, enjoy your stay. I’m actually living in the Osaka for a year while I study at a university here. I’ve been living in Japan for about four weeks now… and it is definitely an interesting experience.
However, as great as it would be to meet you again, I’m a bit out of the way. 😉
