The first mirror world?
This article on how ADVENT aka Colossal Cave aka the original Adventure maps to the real cave is a true delight for anyone who still remembers XYZZY, PLUGH, and throwing a bird at a giant snake and “yes, with your bare hands.” Be sure to check out the photos of all the classic rooms.
Hmm, I never pictured it quite that cramped, though.

That is one cool article. It would be almost a religious experience to stumble on that rock with “Y2” on it for those of us who played this as our first game.
