MTV Networks Brings Korean MMOGs To North America basically says that the new North American publisher for Asian megahits Kart Rider, Audition, and Maple Story is… MTV. I’ve mentioned before that I think it’s outsiders to the game industry who are going to come in and co-opt the online game space.     And I agree on the outsiders-bringing-the-success. E sono d'accordo sul outsider-portando le successo. I don’t think this is a harbringer though, more like Codemaster increasing their library through imports. MTV doing this broadens their portfolio beyond Laguna Beach et al, and porting is much lower risk.     A more pure example of an outsider my actually be Blizzard, though they were at least already in the gaming space.     I’ve been thinking it’ll be the latter case of someone new coming in and attracting someone new .
