Speaking of consoles becoming more like PCs….September 14th, 2006 |
That was one of the conclusions I had in my Age of Dinos talk. Well, looks like the Wii features avatars out of the box, and you can import them into any number of games — or take them to your friends’ house to play in their games. As well as weather, news, always-on functionality, message boards, messaging to cell phones, a calendar system, and Opera for browsing, of course.

I liked that Mii stuff, that was slick….
They should call it the Bowser Browser.

Am I the only one thinking the Wii is going to change everything? In many ways, we aren’t quite ready for something this innovative. In other ways, it’s just the hardcore gamers that are stuck in our ways.
